Ok, I know this has absolutely nothing to do with names, but for some reason I cannot write in the forum, even though I am a registered member. I am 14 days late for my period, but I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests, both of which have come out negative. I am not on the pill, and I am wondering if anyone on here has ever taken a few negative tests before they got a positive one? Just looking for some hope I guess...

| Hon... I have heard that quite a few people get negative pregnancy tests before they get a positive, especially on the pregnancy tests at the shops - they are not real reliable. If you’re not sure, go to your Doc for a blood test. It may be a little soon too darlin... but good luck! |

| With my 1st baby, I had several negative tests...I had to go to the doctor - the blood test came out positive. Go see your doctor. GL |

| You are usally not nauseated right away, but you can even fgo to a walk in clinic for a blood test...costs about 50 bucks, but you will know right away. |

| It’s totally possible to get a false negative result if you aren’t very far along.I know I did-then two weeks later it was a positive result. |

| Retest with first morning urine. If you are taking longer to conceive than you’d like, get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility (you can find it on Amazon). Any number of things can cause your period to be late other than pregnancy, but if a baby is what you’re hoping for, learn the signs that you’re ovulating, and it will happen much faster!! gl! |
