Cove & Coast? vs. Thoughts
Baby boy #1 is named Cove Jameson and boy #2 is due in November. I saw the name Coast on a previous poll and think they sound good together. I brought it up to hubby and he does too. Outside opinion?

I don't usually go for this style of names, but I really like it! They pair well for brothers, and I like the vibe. I think, paired with a strong middle name, like Jameson, you have a winner!

Super cute imo. I definitely agree that he should have a solid/ masculine middle name. Do you have any members you want to honor?

Neither names are my personal style but they do sound nice together but I would find a more common middle name for him to balance it out as well as giving him options when he's older in case her doesn't like Coast. I think Coast William sounds nice and pairs well with Jameson

I like it but if you have another one after him I feel like you'd have to use another C name.

@Guest, I think I get what you mean. It would be a little weird if a Matilda gave birth to a Coast, am I right?

Guess I'm in the minority that doesn't like this. Cove & Coast both have water related meanings but that's usually not a big deal, I just don't like how they both start with Co- . I don't like siblings names that start or sound very close. They'll get confused at one point in their life. Plus Coast is a little too tryhard for me, I like Cove. Maybe Cove & Harbour like someone else said.

I like the sound of them together, but at the same time they seem a bit too matchy, like you're starting a theme, not of C names but of nature/sea related names?

I don't care for either name. I agree, they both start with Co.

Coast makes me think of Coast soap, or actual movement as the verb. Cove isn't quite as bad but still kind of bizarre. I picture a cove of rocks when I hear it.
