The name was actually originally a term referring to enlightenment in Buddhism, derived from Sanskrit. The transcription of the term from Sanskrit is spelled bodhi. So the correct spelling of the name is Bodhi in my opinion. Personally I'm not a fan of it as a name though. But that's just my opinion.

Bohdi is a name that means understanding of true nature. Where as Bodhi means enlightenment.

It just depends on whether you are going with the Indian meaning or the Buddhist meaning. Neither are wrong
