Jasmine vs. Jazmyn

Pls help before my hubby and I debate again over this lol. We have for now decided on this name but having a little disagreement on spelling. For me we should use the Jasmine spelling, it is the most popular, is the way most will spell it and it is the same as the flower. My husband thinks we should spell it Jazmyn so it is a little more stand out, he feels it will be fun for her to write and makes it more interesting for her. These points heard, which spelling do you prefer? Ty!!!

Jasmine is correct, Jazmyn is an 8 year old's version

I really don't like 'misspellings' of popular names (e.g. Alivia instead of Olivia). You are right, go with Jasmine. The flower connection is right and because it's the popular version, it will be easy for others to spell and say.

With Jazmyn she'll have to correct the spelling all the time, which isn't fun or interesting. Jasmine will be easier for her to wear.

Jasmine. It won't "be fun" for her past the age of like 6.

Maybe compromise with Jazmine🤔

That said I much prefer Jasmine. GL!

Jasmine. Why make her life harder? Jasmine makes you look more literate too.

I know someone (legally) called Jazmyn, who actually spells her name as Jasmine now because of how much easier it is.

Jasmine gmv.

If she has to study hard and learn correct spelling then she should have a good example to follow. Good luck! :0)

Jasmine looks better. Jazmyn looks trashy.

Only some names can be switched up a little like

Holli
Hayley
Hailey
Isabel
Isobel
But not Jasmine. Jazmine is cool. Jazzy as a nickname

Sorry but your husband has bad points lol. The fact it would be "fun" is very, very subjective. Of course he could be right and she'd find it somewhat… fun? I don't think spelling your name has to be spiced up to be fun. Jasmine is easier and she won't have to always spell it out. Also, bonus points, she can find a simple key chain with the correct spelling. I know that's such a niche concern but as a Cate over Kate it was annoying.
