Lainey Grace vs. Lainey Ann(e)? vs. Lainey Jo
So I've been thinking about honoring my father who past away recently. His name was Lane, I don't really like Elaine. But, my husband thought of Lainey. However, our last name ends in Ley. Do you guys it would be okay or no? Also, there's three of our top middle names for it, too. Thanks. BTW, all the middles names are family members, too.

I think it's a very cute name and a good way to honor your father. It's hard to be sure without knowing the last name but I think it should sound ok.

Delaney would be nice with nickname Laney. Laney Anne doesn't really flow. Too much N sounds. Laney Grace is nice. Don't like the middle name Jo.

I think Delaney is the perfect way to honor him, without being too nickname-ish. As for the middle name, maybe pick something that you love, rather than another family name
