I am having a girl and I have always loved the name Cornelia! I am a Dutch American, so I like that it has long history in The Netherlands. The name Cornelia is not very popular in the US, which I also really love. If I were to nickname the name Cornelia, I would use the common "Corrie". What do you think about this name for my daughter? To me, it makes me feel warm, and reminds me of meadows and my home country.

I agree that nickname Corrie can draw attention to the name in a way that makes me think of corn lol.. however, with a great middle name, Cornelia can be cute! I also love that it's not common!
