When i saw VEDA i thought of the girl that played on the movie MY GIRL. Her name was Veda Soultinfus. I would not name my daughter that because that is what i think of, but i like the name it is not too out there and you do not see it much. Go for it.

I like Veda and reminds me of my girl too. The only teasing I can see is Darth Veda but hey it’s all in love and fun:)

Doesn’t she spell it Vada on My Girl? I could be wrong. But if you spell it Veda, I could see people saying it like Vee-da.

Yes its spelled Vada and her lastname is actually spelt Sultenfuss. But I love the name Vada very cute & I love the movie my girl!

Thanks everyone! I think I might be leaning towards Vaeda, Vaida or Vayda so it doesn’t get pronounced vee-da. Now if only I could convince the hubby....

My great grandmother was named Vada with hard a sound after the V. And personally I would love to name my daughter this.
