Aaliyah? vs. Opinions on vs. Aaliyah?

My husband and I are expecting our 2nd daughter and we’re really loving the name Aaliyah ( pronounced UH-LEE-UH ). We have a 3 1/2 year old named Lily. Do Lily and Aaliyah sound good together? What is a good middle name for Aaliyah? Do you like the name? Thanks! ~ Kelsey, Jon, Lily and baby girl

I love the name, the spelling isn’t my favorite though.

Lily’s middle name is Katherine, after my mother. We’re considering the middle name Teresa for our 2nd daughter. We also like the spelling Aaliya, or Aliya. But, Aaliyah is the original spelling.

I like the spelling Aaliyah. I don’t think Teresa goes with it though. How about Aaliyah Tess?

I don’t really like the spelling Aaliyah, it seems a bit run-on. Maybe the spelling Alia? I think it looks prettier, and it’s simpler and sweeter IMO. Alia Claire or Alia Nichole would be nice. =) GL!

I love the name Aaliyah! I don’t mind that spelling either but other options Aliyah, Alia, or Aleah.

We have actually chosen the name Aaliyah Rachel (middle name after my grandmother) for a girl, so I am glad to see others like the combo :) And BTW, I say stick with the spelling Aaliyah. It’s really the easiest to not mess up when pronouncing, as it can easily be sounded out. Many of the other spellings are more likely to be mispronounced, and besides, I think it looks beautiful spelled this way.

I like Aliyah Noelle.
Ive recently found out im expecting and thats what ive decided to name my daughter if god blesses me with one! fingers crossed!

I think spelling Aaliyah any other way seems incomplete and annoying. Aliyah, Aliah and any other way you guys are trying to butcher it is wrong. I get it all the time why did I spell it that way. Aaliyah is the original version. My daughters name is Aaliyah Marie and its beautiful!

We are naming our daughter Aaliyah who will be born in October.My boyfriend doesn’t like the spelling though, but I love it! Anyways what’s a good middle name to go with Aaliyah? I really like Mae, but I want more options just in case my boyfriend doesn’t like it. He’s a little stubborn. :p
