Alyna/Aalina/Alina ?? vs. which spelling?? vs. mn help!!

We love Alyna/Aalina/Alina as the name for our second daughter but are clueless for a middle name. Please help!! Also which spelling do you prefer? The husband, Cole, likes it Alyna, I like it Aalina, and well neither really favor Alina but we just threw it in there. Her older sister is Jennie Elizabeth. Btw Maverick is our last name. Only two syllables (mav-rick) not (mav-er-rick). Thanks ~ Anna, Cole, Chuchi, and Baby Alyna/Aalina/Alina

How are you pronouncing it? I like Alina if it’s pronounced Uh-lee-nuh. The other spellings look very strange.

What is the pronunciation? Ah-Lean-uh? If so, I like Alina best, maybe Aleena or Alena.

It will be pn Uh-lee-nuh. :)

I like Alina too, very pretty.

I’d definitely go with Alina. It’s looks the prettiest and will be pronounced correctly more than the other two spellings. If you want my honest opinion, the other spellings look uneducated. I’m not trying to be mean or offensive, but that’s just the first impression I got. Sorry! I think Alina is an absolutely gorgeous name, though! You could spell it Aleena if you really don’t like Alina, but I personally think Alina is prettier.

Alina is the classiest version, imo. And the easiest for pronunciation - Alyna looks like Uh-Lynn-uh, and Aalina looks like Al-een-uh or Ahl-een-uh.

Maybe a classic name that matches Elizabeth would be a good mn?

No, thanks we appreciate the honesty its better to hear it now and change it then hear it later on when its too late to change it. So now that we have chose Alina we still need help with her middle name! Any ideas. We want something really girly and "frilly" as my husband puts it. :)

That would have been adorable but there is already a "belle" in the family. Her name is Clarabelle Rose. Its our nieces name. I think its too close.

I have a 4 year old daughter Alina Judith (middle name after my mom) and we got nothing but compliments on it when she was born. I debated spelling it Aleena in the beginning to avoid pronounciation issues but am really glad we went with Alina, just lookes prettier. The occasional person isn’t sure how to pronounce it, and most aren’t sure how to spell it at first but people catch on. It’s a gorgeous name, and totally suites her!

My name is Aleena. I had not experienced any one with my name spelled like mine or in any other variation; however now a days I have run into quite a few Alina’ as well as Aleena’s. I have grown to appreciate my unique an beautiful name. I hope others show appreciation as well by utilizing it in naming their children.

I love this name. I am planning on naming my daughter Alena Laree. Which Alena "supposedly" Greek/English version of this name meaning Light. But who knows for sure. I am on the fence still on which spelling to use. In the US Aleena would be more friendly as far as other pronouncing it correctly but I love the spellings Alina and Alena better. Any thoughts?
