Middle Name For vs. Brooklyn (for a baby boy)

Hi, my husband and I are expecting a baby boy in mid-June. We have decided on Brooklyn (nickname Brooks and/or Brookie Rookie). We know it’s a unisex name but used mostly for girls so we would like more masculine middle names. Also, do you have any suggestion for boy or girl future sibling names. Thanks!

For boy siblings I would name them Ashley, Kelly, Courtney or Jade because if one boy has a more girly name and doesn’t like it, it would be unfair on him.

If Brooklyn ever gets a brother, I think another unisex name would be nice.

For a girl, I think a more feminine name rather than a unisex name because if she has a unisex name people might be confused as to which is the boy and which is the girl. Feminie, sort of popular names like these I think could work.

I agree that one boy who has a name more popular for girls should have his brothers have names more popular for girls - Addison, Avery, Sydney, Erin, London, Cleo, Dana.

I’d spell it Brooklen. The y makes it look girly to me. Brooklen Isaac or Brooklen Wyatt sound good!

I would consider naming him Brooks instead; you can still have the nn Brookie, etc. I think Brooks sounds more masculine.

Brooklyn, although unisex, seems so feminine to me. GL
