Christopher / vs. Kristopher vs. Boy or Girl

I love the name Christopher for a boy, but I’ve been seeing it spelled Kristopher for girls! Whats your opinion on that? Is it a girly name or a boy name? In my opinion its completely a boys name. Thanks!

I could never think of it as a girl’s name no matter how it was spelled.I do love it as a boy’s name though and I prefer the original C spelling.

Absolutely, positively a boys’ name, regardless of spelling. Prefer the C spelling. I’ve seen Kristofer, too.

It is definitely a boy’s name either way. If you are looking for a unique spellling, go with Kristopher!!

My brother-in-law’s name is spelled Kristofer.

100% boy name, I shudder at the thought that there might be a girl out there named Kristopher. Christopher for a boy is a great name! If you like Kris/Krissy for a girl...

I can’t believe all the boys names I’m seeing on girls! This is just getting ridiculous! Christopher, even spelt Kristoffer or however is still a boys name. It’s not even like Riley or Sidney that at least sound a bit girly.

Oh Jesus, people will really name their daughters anything! It’s a boy’s name no matter how you spell it! Personally, though, I think the K version looks weird. Christopher is much better.

The author Kristopher Dukes is a woman. I still think it’s a boy’s name no matter how it’s spelled. This opinion from a woman named Jeri.

It's a boys name. I wouldn't think it any other way. I prefer with a K.
