Hi I like them both a lot. I like the sound of both. I think Ensley flows nice with your last name because they are both quick two syllables but I also like the three syllables of Ellory with Batson as well. I think you cant go wrong with either. Emory Batson is also cute!

I love Ellory! I might steal it for my girl :)
Ensley sounds like Ainsley, a name I never liked. I think Ellory is much prettier and Elle/Ellie are great nn!

Ensley - I love it, what would you use for a nn? It donsent sound like Ainsley to me at all. I love Ellory to and the nn Elle is nice too. Ensley I think is a little more unique than Ellory. GL!

I like Ensley, very unique sounding.
I like Ensley Kathryn, or Ensley Elizabeth.
You could just call her "E" as a nn.

I like Ellory better with your last name.
Ensley is cute, but just doesn’t flow as well, in my opinion. I’d also avoid anything ending with the N sound with your last name or an Ee sound with the first name, unless there is a family name or a special name you want to use. Elle and Ellie are great nicknames!
Ellory Claire
Ellory Kate
Ellory Margaret
Ellory Bridget
Ellory Louisa
Ellory Sarah
Ellory Diana
Ellory Shaye
Ellory Ava
Ellory Cassandra
Ellory May or June

Ensley is my face, Ellory, to me, sounds like Allegra and Celery...

Not a fan..what about "Espree" or "Estee" ?

I absolutely adore Ellory. Little Elle or Ellie:)
Ensley is not that pretty to me.
It could be Elodie, as well.

Ellory Jasmine
Ellory Cate
Ellory Mariah
Ellory Olivia

Again IO don’t like Ensley and not really a nn there but if you do decide for Ensley it could be E, Ley (Leigh) or Enzie

i don’t care for either of them sorry, i think they sound made up and quite masculine. there are so many pretty girls names out there, how about something like..

Jane
Antonia
Pearl
Isobel

hope this helps

I really like the name Ellory although I like it better spelled Ellery. How about Ellery Drue or Drew?

My 10 month old is names Ensley Maeve...I always get compliments on her name. I actually picked it because it was unique and there wasn’t a nickname that I could think of. I LOVE the name Ensley. I try for unique names, some that are not going to hurt in the future, or in school.

I know this is an older thread, but I just wanted to comment that I have an Ensley. Which name did you wind up going with?
