Synthia’s not even a legitimate spelling. Why ruin such a pretty name like Cynthia?

This is the way my step daughter name is spelled and I hate it. I was trying to see if it was just me, or if everyone has the same feeling. I get so embarassed whenever I have to spell her name for people or fill out forms.

I feel like I want to say "but I didn’t name her, she’s my step daughter" everytime I hear Synthia with an S, isn’t that different.

But I guess there’s nothing I can do about it, was just kind of hoping it was just me who hated the spelling....
