I think it could go either way. Not too many people have probably heard it so if you name your son or daughter that, that’s what they will think of when they hear it.

Laithe like the first person says is a tool, don’t spell it that way. Laeth looks boyish and Laith looks girlish. I think it’s a unisex name.

It is actually an Arabic boy name, meaning lion cub. My son is named Laeth, but other spellings include Layth.

My name is laeth, pronounced lay-th. It is a very rare Arabic name which translates to little lion or heart of lion which interpretation means brave or brave heart. I’ve never met another person with the same name as I, or known of another person who knows someone called laeth but it is a lovely name and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

It's Laith or Layth normally. My name is Layth and I've seen other Layths and Laiths but never Laeth or Leth
