Taytum vs. Tatum

In an earlier poll i was asking advise for middle names for this name, and to my suprise got negative feedback on the spelling....so what do you think? Also advise for middles please...i already have girls named Skylar Reese, Brooklyn Chayse and Harper Blaire.

When in doubt, the original spellings are almost always the best. I see Tatum and think ’great/cute name, can picture on a resume’. I see Taytum and think ’wonder if she had a teenage mom? Poor girl is going to look like she can’t even spell her own name on her resume.’ Go with Tatum!!

Brooklyn accually had a friend named Tayte and her nickname was tater tot....hey, could be worse... Every name can be warped by kids so that doesnt bother me. So far the middles i have are Brynn, Wren, Quinn, Drew, Belle, Rhea, Lou, or Pearl. As for the spelling ive seen worse on that as well.

I would say Taytum Brynn or Taytum Belle. My name is actually Taytum Faith, and i love it. I hate when people’s names are something like "Hannah" or "Ashley"; those are too common and boring. I don’t like the spelling "Tatum" because it just doesn’t make sense; it looks like you would pronounce it ’TAT-um’ that way, not ’TAY-tum’. Nicknames that others would call me are mainly "Tay". My mom calls me things like "Tay" or "Taytie". And then I have a few silly nicknames like "Tater" "Tater-tot" "Tate", etc... So yeah. :)
