I know someone who named her daught Bonita (beautiful in Spanish) and they call her Bonnie.
You could do something like that as a middle name, so that you are still honoring her, but it is something more suited to your taste.

I would use Bonnie in some fashion either as a middle name or first name.

nn Aubrie. Really, use it as a middle name, if you don’t want her called Bonnie. I’d say just to go with Aubrey Bonnie but it is a little rhyme-y and sounds off. Aubrielle Bonnie is nice. What do you think?

I am a Bonnie Louise, and love it! People know how to spell and say it, but very few others ever have the same name.

Bonnie would make a good first name. I know a coworker by that name. It’s different, and it’s easy to spell and remember. It’s the only coworker I know with that name.

My first name is Bonnie, I love it! My middle name is Sue, do not love it so much. I have 3 daughters 2 like my name, 1 not so much.
