Fia is the correct way to spell it. It’s Italian for Flame.

We\’re naming our little girl Sophia, but we don\’t like it shortened to Sophie, so we\’re thinking Phia. \"Fia\" is an Italian name meaning Flame, but Phia is greek and I believe means something like modest woman. Sophia means wisdom.
