Not really sure there are any real nicknames for Heidi and why does she need a nickname anyway, just call her Heidi.

I agree with first poster. Heidi does not need a nn. Heidi is a pretty name and is short. To shorten Heidi you would need a one sylable name like Dee but Heidi is much prettier.

my sister name is Heidi. I am 27 and she is 8. big a diff I know but my got re married. anyway, she usually goes by:
Heidi-Ho
Heidi-Idi
Hi-Hi
but see never ever goes by Dee Dee.
she hates DeeDee.

she loves Heidi-Ho.

sorry my computer stuffed up. I am Heidi’s sister. the first bit was supposed to say:
’Big Age Difference I Know but My Mom got Re-Married and Had Heidi and another boy.

My name is Heidi. I love my name. It represents my heritage, since my great grandpa's family came from Switzerland. But I have a dilemma. We hired someone to work at our office and her name is also Heidi. We dont know how to avoid confusion. We could go with a cute nickname but then that would probably not sound professional. We need it to be professional enough for we deal with customers all the time. Any ideas?

My name is Heidi, and personally I don't have a lot of nicknames. Typically if someone calls me by a nn, it's Heids or Heid. My middle name is Jo, so I also get called HiJo, and one of my friends randomly started calling me Helga 🤷
