hi! im having my 1st child its a girl i want to name her Renesmee i think the name is beutiful i know its form the twilight saga. but i realy love that name the only thing i need is a mn for her cause i dont like the name Carlie

I personally don’t think it’s the best idea. I agree, the name is pretty, but it’s far too trendy, and everyone will always associate her name with the saga. (Just being honest!)

Unless your mother’s name is Renee and your husband’s mother’s name is Esme, please do NOT name your poor child Renesmee. It sounds weird, looks weird, and naming your child that makes you seem like a teenager that is obsessed with Edward Cullen and needs a reality check. For you child’s own sake, do not name her this unusual name. Sorry.

It is not pretty at all! It sounds made up and I thought it was a horrible name to use in the book, I can’t imagine using it in real life. Please don’t use this name

Dom’t listen to them its a beautiful name that you love and thats what truley matters I mean come on right after that book came out everyone named there kids Edward and Bella infact the other day I met a kid named Cullen(no joke)and its pretty and when shes older she can go by Renee or Esme(lol) and at the end of the day its your happiness that counts

I agree that Renesmee is a beautiful name. I’m obsessed with the saga but I still like the name. When I have a kid I want to name my daughter Renesmee. I think Renesmee Cecilia is really pretty

Renesmae is gorgeouse ive put of usen it do to prudes like the ones ive seen here....follow your heart my daughters name is "Amarilla Skye" and i get alot of crap for it but i find it gorgeouse! I want to name one Renesmae Kalise

I believe it's you're decision to name your child, so if Renesmee is what you chose, then that's your choice! Not all people who name their child Renesmee are NOT Edward Cullen freaks
