Nicknames For vs. Temperance

Hello, we’ve decided on Temperance for our little girl (Temperance Jane) but the only nickname we can think of is Tempy - like the Bones character. We were wondering if anyone could think of another nickname to use instead or as well as Tempy? Thanks, Mariah and Dominic Even.

I was going to say Perri as well.... it is no different than other virtue names like Hope, Faith, Prudence....

We like Perry/Perri/Peri - which spelling would you suggest?

Any other ideas?

We love the name Temperance and don’t find it ’weird’ at all - we like it because it’s ’off-beat’.

I would go with the spelling Perri or Peri. It’s more feminine than Perry.

Perri- though keep in mind as she gets older she may or may not want to be called Perri anymore and may want to be called Tempy or Temperance.

I'm actually naked Temperance, I don't know if I really like my name since the nn are very few and it was never a feminine name in my opinion. I like pepper but Another name was Rain/Rainy. I Like that a lot.
