Just Bree?

I guess my post might have sounded confusing - Bree/Bri IS our first baby girl, Makinley is biologically my sister’s child, who we have legal custody of and who we call our daughter. We don’t want Makinley to be associated with her mother for various reasons, so until she needs to know otherwise, she is our daughter. Thanks!

I suppose it can be, but we love how it’s so simple yet still so beautiful.

I think the Bree spelling seems less nicknamish. well Bri just looks like a abviation of Brianna. so I’d go with the Bree spelling GL

Bree seems a little short but this is the spelling you should choose. GL.

You could try the irish spelling: Brígh.

I know you have already named her and everything but I wanted to add my input. My is Brianna, from middle school to my first year of college I spelt my nickname "brie" until I decided I didn't like how that looked and changed it to "bree". Before I decided to spell it Brie or Bree everyone would spell it Bri. Throughout elementary school other kids would purposely say "Bri" pronounced as you would Brian. They did this on purpose because of the way it was spelt. So after 20 years of living with the name Bree, i've come to the conclusion that Bree, in my opinion, the best way to spell it.

Hey I'm 44 and my name is Bree I really have to say I like it. It's unique but not absurdly so. &my only gripe is cheese jokes from time to time but I tell them yeah my sister is cheddar and I have a brother Jack. But it seems more commonly used now that I never even get those any longer. &Yes I would use the spelling Bree.

Ummmm, well my name is Brie, so I'm a little biased. I pronounce it like the Bri in Brian, so I guess it's a little odd.
