Sibling Name Dilemma!!! vs. I have a son named Tyler vs. and I want to name my daughter Taylor!

Hey, my husband and I are expecting our second child - a baby girl! As soon as I found out I was having a girl, we decided on the name Taylor Kay since we’ve both always loved the name Taylor for a girl. However, our son is Tyler Christopher and everyone keeps giving us a hard time saying that Taylor and Tyler are too similar. I know that there similar but I happen to like matching names and there not the same names. What do you guys think? Also, what other T names can we use for future siblings? Thanks!

I think they are way too close and don’t sound good together. But if it doesn’t bother you, then go for it.

I think they are too close. Maybe use Taylor as the middle name.

I don’t think it’s THAT close...
What do you think of having Taylor as a mn? Give her a nice first name and call her Taylor.

My sons are Tyler & Taylor.. I think they are pretty names together, though Tyler died 7 years ago... go for it, if you like it.

Way too close! And it’s not fair for your kids to have names that are so close! It’s not fair to your son. He might think you are trying to replace him. You could have named him Taylor in the first place. You will always get their names confused!

Taylen...close but not as close as Taylor and Tyler!

My little sister is Ashlee and I’m Aimee, I think they’re waaay too close and it bothered me everytime someone mixed up our names.
