Maybe like Owen? I like your curiosity, but I would stay away from names that would be difficult to pronounce- that would always be stressful for your little one.

It is probably pronounced the same as the Irish name Eowen: o-wyn. I love it.

My daughters name is Saoirse. I say that

would make a great middle name to Aowyn.
"aye - oh - whinn" "Seer-sha"

Sounds awesome.

It’s Ay-Oh-In. I have a friend with this name.

Ay-uh-wyn (Aowyn)is how my friend pronounces her name. She was named after the Lord of the Rings character Eowyn-pronounced ay-uh-wyn.

MY NAME IS AOWYN! It's a variation of Éowyn from the Lord of the Rings, pronounced "eh-oh when" with a very soft W. The pronunciation was given by a friend of a friend of my mom who speak Scottish Gaelic. Please, please, please do not listen to the person who said "Owen," I beg you. I would love to change my name to it's original spelling because it means "horse" and "love" in Old English with Tolkein's spelling, but unfortunately the U.S. is not kind toward accents. Watch the LOTR movies for a fairly accurate pronunciation of Éowyn, though I suppose Aowyn is fair game and you could say it however you want since it's a variation.
