I think Theresa is a bit old, but you could name her Theresa and then just call her Tessa. Another name similar to Theresa is Tressa. Or you could use Theresa as a middle name and give her a more modern first name :)

Theresa Nicole
Theresa June
Theresa Isabel
Theresa Mackenzie
Theresa Madison

Madison Theresa
Abigail Theresa
Brielle Theresa
Jasmine Theresa
Delaney Theresa
Ivy Theresa
Emily Theresa

Good luck!

I agree with the first post. Also Teressa could be a variation of Theresa. Using it as a middle name though is a good idea. Cameron Theresa is pretty.

Theresa is a great name! Both pretty and underused. You could use Reese as a nn if you wanted to. If you’re not sure it matches your other kids that well, you could use that for her mn or use a variation for her fn. Therese would work well, especially if you were pairing it with a name ending in -a... i.e. Sophia Theresa doesn’t sound as nice as Sophia Therese imo.

Theresa Quinn
Theresa Claire
Theresa Jade
Theresa Piper
Theresa Violet
Theresa Lane
Theresa Zoe
Theresa Zoey
Theresa Paris
Theresa Paige

Annabelle Theresa
Kadence Theresa
Kylie Theresa
Ashlyn Theresa
Katherine Therese
Elena Therese

I think that it is a beautiful name, my mom’s name is Teresa. I don’t think that it’s too old fashioned, a lot of people are naming their kids more traditional names. As the 1st poster said, if you want you can always nickname her Tessa, which is more modern.

Possible Middle Names:
Theresa Dawn
Theresa Nicole
Theresa Danielle
Theresa Evelyn
Theresa Abigail
Theresa Renee
Theresa Isabelle

GL and Congrats!

I think it’s fine for a fn even if it’s old fashioned. Old fashioned names are coming back, anyway! Plus, you could use a more modern nickname... Tessa, Tess, or Reese would be cute.

I like Theresa! I also really like the suggestion of Tessa

You seem to have a more trendy naming style so I don’t personally think it goes but in the end the only thing that matters is that you love the name. Maybe you could make it her middle name? Good luck!

Theresa is a beautiful name. Does it matter if it \’goes\’ with her brothers\’ names? The vast majority of her life will be spent out on her own, as an independent woman. Don\’t pick a name based on the 18 (or so) years she will spend in the family home, when you could honor your mother and give your daughter a name with meaning.
