Nevaeh vs. Means Hell?

Nevaeh is becoming increasingly popular because it’s heaven spelled backwards. But, if heaven is backwards doesn’t that mean hell? I like the sound of Nevaeh, and I think I’m pronouncing it right (Nev-Ay? Im probably wrong)I would spell it differently. Wdyt?

God is Dog spelled backwards, so does Dog mean God? No.

You pronounce it nev-vay-ah. Nevaeh is a common teen mom name, I would NEVER use this name. A name similar to this that I like is Naevia pronounced nay-vee-ah.

I agree. I always felt the same way about the meaning. When you spell a word backwards it negates the meaning, similar to hanging a cross or a flag upside down. I don’t understand why if a person wants to name their child a name that means heaven, they don’t pick a name that actually means heaven.
Nevaeh is pn. Ne-Vay-Ah.

I like the name I was even considering it I have a friend named Nevaeh and we call her Neva for short

I dont agree that Nevaeh is a teen mom name. I think Nevaeh is just a name like every other name. You can give your child any name you want. You should not stereotype this name to be only a name a teenager would name her child. A name is a name. Nevaeh does not mean hell. I like this name and I have a daughter named Neveah and when I had her, I was not a teen mom.

I totally agree with the last post. Only a fool would think that Heaven spelled backwards means hell. I also do not believe this is a teen Mom name. (Besides, if non - teen Mom’s name thier babies Nevaeh, then it’s no longer just a teen Mom name - is it?)

it doesn’t mean anything. how can it have a meaning when it’s a word spelled backwards, the meaning of Heaven is God’s home, so is the meaning of Nevaeh emoh s’doG? i’ve always pronounce it nev-ay-ah, i might be wrong. not that i’ve ever said it out loud, i’ve only ever read it. thankfully i’ve never met anyone with the name, so i’ve never heard it said out loud.
