We really like the name Madison, we just aren’t sure how to spell it. We also aren’t sure of middle names that flow well with Madison. She will probably go by Maddy.

Although I’m all for original spellings, I actually prefer the spelling of Maddison here.

Also, wouldn\’t Mattison be a completely different name/nn? Wouldn\’t that nickname be Matty?

Mattison is my last name, and even as a last name people always spell it madison. Save your child the trouble of correcting people all the time and go with the traditional spelling.

I love spelling Matison, with only one "T" and the nn Mattie. I also like Madyson, nn Mady.
