Hubby doesn’t like vs. Our top name, Tansy, vs. anymore :(

Hey all, we are back to the drawing board. We had decided we liked the name Tansy for our little girl. We want a name that starts with a T and is pretty, but still fun. We had both initially liked Tansy, but the hubby now feels it sounds like an "african" name (Tansinia). So, any other unique T names you like? --right now my next favorite is Tessa - thanks

Tansy is a plant. Tanzania is the African country. They are pretty different. :) Do you like Tess? I can see it on a young child and an adult; someone can be taken seriously with that name, yet have a playful side. What do you think?

Maybe you shouldn’t confine yourself to just "T" names...What about Tamsin nn Tansy? I do like Tessa a lot, as well as Thalia (t-al-ya) and Therese.

Tansy sounds like Pansy....that was my first thought! Is there any reason why it has to be a T name?
The only unusual T name that comes to mind right now is Tully.

My favorite girl names starting with T are Tori or Torrie and Teagan so I think Tori (Torrie) is a cute name and it is short for Victoria so Victoria could he her serious adult name and Tori (Torrie) could be her fun nickname. Teagan on the other hand is cute and unique

Thanks for the suggestions. I like Tinley, Tori, Teagan, and Tia... They can go on the list. We are trying to honor my late father, ted. His initials were T.W. We are thinking Willow for a middle name.
