Maxton vs. Maxtin Or Maxten vs. Maxtyn
I like the nickname Max but I an having troubles finding a longer first name for Max that I like. I don’t care for the names Maddox, Maxwell or Maximillian. I like Maxton but I have never herd of it, Can I use this name or is it very odd?? Which spelling should I use?? Maxton, Maxtin, Maxten, Maxtyn??
Feel free to suggest other names!
Thanks

I like Max on it’s own. I’m not really a fan of Maxton, but if you use it I would spell it Maxton or Maxtin. GL

Sorry but this name is not appealing at all so I would advise you to just call him Max. If you go with the longer name, use Maxton as the others look like they’ve been altered. GL.

Just Max is better than any of these spellings. Maxton looks kind of made up to me. GL.

Honestly? I applaud you, I’ve seen many polls on here asking about the names Maximilian, Maxim, and Maximus simply because the poster likes Max or the meanings but the names are so atrocious! Maxton/Maxtin is so much better than those names, use it! I prefer Maxtin because Maxton is broken down into MAX and TON (the weight measurement plus maximum amount...) and that could lead to teasing if he’s a [removed]ubby.

Well, usually if you see the name Paxton it is with the O spelling so it only makes sense to me that the rhyming name of Maxton would be with the O spelling as well.

I never understand why certain things are removed in the posts...it’s so weird. *If he’s a bit over weight the name Maxton can be used for teasing- to reiterate.

Haha.. I like to try and figure out why random things get removed. In this case, bit followed by chubby created the *B* word in the computer’s mind :)

I prefer Maxten. What about Maxen? It’s pretty close and not as harsh.

We used Maxtin in 2010 and love it, we usually just say Max. but wanted to give him the option to use a longer name once he gets older.

I have a Maxton James for the exact reason you listed.
Maximillion, Maxwell etc are so old fashion.
Maxton is great for all ages.

My son is 5 years old. My husband and I named him Maxtin. We loved that name! We Loved the name so much we said even if he was a girl we would name her Maxtin. Honestly, people love his name. I promise people all time are like I love that name! It's unique. Of course he goes by Max for short :) Some times we call him Maxi (Max E).
