Sorry but there’s nothing "cute" about misspelling a common word/name. Stick with Faith and save a lot of aggravation with corrections in the future.

Please don’t do Faythe I know right now the trend is to put a y in a name where it doesn’t belong..my cousins named their kids Nathanyel and Lyllian and while yea it’s a cute idea now..those kids are going to forever have to spell their names for people because when they say it people are going to automatically spell it the correct way. My name is Laura spelt Lora and I am in the middle of changing it to Laura. I hated have a common name spelt uncommonly! If you are going to use a common name like Faith spell it correctly. GL

Faith is really nice, but I don’t care for the spelling Faythe. Her whole life she will have to say: "my name is Faith, but it’s spelled F-A-Y-T-H-E. No, Y, not I. Yes. And there’s a E at the end." It would be such a pain!

I think you already have your answer but I’d just like to say that if you end up spelling it ’Faythe’ then it is just a trendy misspelled name and has no sentimental meaning like Faith does.

I was looking for an Irish versions of names. I named my daughter Faythe, beginning school she was disturbed that noone spelled her name correctly, but now she understands and likes it Alot. She says it makes her unique. I was not trying to find a misspelled name but something not to out there but unique. Myself, I have one of the most popular names ever, Jessica and hated being referred to as Jessica D. All through school because out of 100 students 10 of us were Jessica’s.
