Names vs. for triplets vs. starting with same letter

Hi, this is Cole. My wife and I are having triplets, we don’t know the combination yet. It’s one boy for sure. My wife likes the names to start with the same letter like: Jennifer, Jade, Justin, Jasper, Jayson or stuff. I don’t like it. We have a boy named Dexter Cole. What do you think would go with Dex’ siblings? Thanks, Cole.

If you don’t like the same letter, then this is what I suggest to please both of you: use the letter C for all their names, but a C with different sounds. For example:
Collin, Charles, Cindy
Connor, Charlotte, Cecilia
Caitlin, Charles, Celia
Catherine, Charlie, Cedric
That way, she gets her same-letter thing, but they’re not overly matchy.

But there are also names that start with the same letter but sound nothing alike and will match because of the letter, but won’t rhyme. For example:
Rebecca, Robin, Ria
John, Jacob, Jessa
Isaac, Ian, Ilana
Sarah, Samuel, Sebastien

every twin or triplet I have talked to has not enjoyed having a similar name to their sibling, mostly because they need their own identity, especially when high school comes around...we are naming our multiples different names starting with different letters.

I don’t think that you should start the triplets names with the same letter as it will make your son feel left out (unless all of the other names start with a D, the same as your son).

Don’t do the same letter. You should both come up with a list of names that you like and then put them together and we’ll help you make combinations.
