I think when you change a spelling to look different you are just making it harder on the child and teachers and the rest of the world. Different spelling doesn’t make you any more unique. My name is Makynnzie, yeah, not just McKenzie. No one ever spells my name right so just do your daughter a favor and spell it Abigail or at the most, Abbigail

My name is Abigail and as you can see its spelled the normal way. I meet a girl once and her boyfriend pointed out that we have the same name and there was not much of a difference it was just an extra L at the end of her name (Abigaill) and I loved how her name was spelled. It was unique and I personally think it's better to have your named spelled in a unique way then just the normal way.
