I think Wiley looks more masculine. I would not consider Wylie a girl’s name (though there are probably little girls named Wylie), but since Rylie is the girlie spelling of Riley, I would avoid Wylie.

I doubt that an eye care center in Iowa will have much effect on a child who more than likely lives in one of the 49 other states in the US. There’s a car care center in my town called Leo’s Line Up and Tires but I wouldn’t advise a parent to not name their child Leo because of that.........

I looked it up. The Doctor’s name is Dr. Wylie. Why would this matter to the parents? Why would they have ever heard of Wylie Eye Care Center?

To be Wiley is to be crafty or sneaky. "as Wiley as a fox". That’s not good IMO. It just makes me think dishonesty and lies.

I think Wiley is an awesome nn for a boy but not as a fn or even a mn.
William could lend itself to Wiley as nn.

I absolutely love the name Wiley. I personally don’t like the spelling Wylie, as it makes it look more feminine.
