I wouldn’t even know where to begin with the pronunciation of Caoimhe. I definitely think Keeva would have the best chance of being spelled/pronounced correctly.

There is also the spelling Kiva which I think is prettier than Keeva. I normally go for the original spelling but in this case I think Caoimhe would be constantly misspelled and mispronounced in North America.

I voted Caoimhe (prn kwee-va) but if you are prn it kee-vuh then I think you should spell it keeva.

Caoimhe is pronounced both kwee-va and Kee-va. It’s a dialect thing. I first heard the name in Co. Donegal and it was pronounced Kee-va.

thank you everyone! I think Caoimhe looks prettiest on paper, and I also usually prefer original spellings, but I’m quite afraid of the mispronounciations. I really like the suggestion of "Kiva", and I think "Madelyn" would be a beautiful middle name!

Caoimhe looks really pretty, but it absolutely in no way looks like it would be pronounced "Keeva". Kiva is probably your best bet.
