I am naming my baby girl (uh-lay-nuh) I feel the spelling that reflects this pronunciation properly is Alaina. Yet people keep telling me to spell it Elena, which I have only heard pronounced (eh-len-uh). I would pronounce Elaina (eh-lay-nuh).
