I wouldn’t do Bridey bc it looks like a nickname for Bride. And although I think Bridie is the correct spelling, it looks like a typo for Birdie.

Bridie is a lovely name. I have a friend with a daughter named Bridget "Bridie" and another friend in New Zealand that has a sister named Bridie.

I had a friend named Brydie. I don’t think kids make that Bride connection like adults do. I think it’s a strong Irish name you don’t hear everyday. Go for it.

bridie or brydee does not relate to a bride or a horse saddle it is an individual name that makes the person whos name it is awesome :)
