I have a 5 year old cousin named lacey. I knew a girl in school named lacey too. Its a cute first name.

You could do nickname Laney full name Delaney. Or Lacey is good as a first name on its own. Good Luck!

I think it works as a first name, especially if paired with a long, mature middle name (Lacy Madeline is the first to come to mind). I’m having trouble thinking of a full name.

My mom considered the first name Lacy until she paired it with her last name, Valentine. She ended up naming her Lindsey.

I tried a poll a few days ago suggesting Lacey as a nickname for Elizabeth. Most people seemed to think it didn’t work but I still like it. I think if you can do Libby and Betty for Elizabeth then why not Lacey?

I know this post is old, but for others wondering the same thing - I know a girl named Adelais. Which, I think, is a beautiful alternative to the uber-popular Adelaide or Ade and lends itself beautifully to the super-awesome nickname "Lacey"
