Ok my hubby and I love the name Zoe/Zoey/Zowie however the only spelling I like is Zowie. What do you think of the name and the spelling? We appreciate all your opinions thank you!

It look like a completely different name. Zowie will get pronounced totally differently to Zoe and Zoey and I don’t like it, sorry.

I hate it, I’m sorry. Plus David Bowie named his kid Zowie Bowie and that’s what it makes me think of, so it’s extra unattractive. Please go with Zoe/Zoey

I agree with the first poster, it looks like Z-ow-ee (rhyming with Davis Bowie) instead of Z-oh-ee. Zoey is my favorite and won’t cause her unnecessary problems. GL

David Bowie’s son was called Zowie Bowie and as soon as he got old enough he changed it. Kind of says it all, doesn’t it? This is a pretty ridiculous name for a child.

I love the name and spelling Zoe and Zoey. Zowie is not attractive looking and looks like it is pronounced Zow-ie and reminds me of a dog, you know bow-wow. Don’t try to be cute or unique with the name. Zoe or Zoey!

I dislike the spelling Zowie. For a start, I immediately pronounced it Zow-ee not Zo-wee. I imagine a lot of people will make this mistake, especially as it is not the normal spelling so people will assume you have changed the spelling because you want it to be pronounced differently to Zoe or Zoey.
I really like the name Zoe and Zoey, I think these spellings are much more suitable and appropriate and very pretty.

I agree it looks like it should be pronounced Z-ow-ie instead of Z-oh-ie. I would use either one of the other two spellings, if you want to be different I have also seen it spelled Zoie.
