First names for vs. nickname Simba?

I realize that having Simba as a first name for a boy is not realistic or ideal in his adult life, so I need some fn ideas. I am having B/G twins and the girls name is going to be Ariel/le Klaire. As you can probably tell, these names are taken from the Disney movies The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, my favorite movies. If you could help me find realistic fns for the nn Simba that would be great! Thanks in advance!

I worry about future teasing but why don’t you go with Sebastian for your boy? You could always go with the Simba nickname if you are really that in love with it. But, be prepared!

Simon Barrett and call him Simba, which uses the first part of each of his names. Or any name that starts with SIM or BA will work.

Lol.. "Be Prepared" is actually Scar’s song in the Lion King :). Sebastian was one of my first thoughts, but I wouldn’t use it with Ariel if I were you. I also would suggest Leo because both Leo and Simba mean Lion. And I also had the idea of Silva (wow, the first poster and I must really think alike!!) because my husband’s nn in high school was Simba (his last name is Silva).
Other ideas:
Sims/Simms
Simin
Samba
Sampson
Santino
Hasim
Kassim
Maksim/Maxim

I really like the idea of using Sim- in the first name and Ba- in the middle name so thank you to the poster who suggested that! However, I’m not a fan of the name Barrett. If you have any other mns that start with Ba- please share!!

Yes, the \"be prepared\" pun was intended. I third Simon Barrett or some version using SIM from the first name and BA from the middle. Great idea!
