I think it depends on how you want it pronounced. Brittany is generally pronounced Britt-ah-nee, while Brittney and Britney are pronounced Britt-nee.

Of the three, I like Brittney best.

I disagree with poster 1. All the people I known that are named Brittany are called Brit-nee. I doubt that will be an issue

Brittany is a very popular name... nothing trashy about it. I prefer the classic spelling (Brittany) or Brittney. I wouldn’t use Britney so there will be no association with Britney Spears.

I think a three-syllable first name sounds best with your last name. So, unless you pronounce it Brit-en-nee, I’d look for something else, e.g., Bethany.
