Depnding on the spelling you choose, I would go with the first four letters of the spelling you picked. For example if you choose Madison go with Madi and if you pick Madyson go with Mady.

We have a Madelyn and we spell it Mady. I like Madyson nn Mady.

I think Maddie. People will always spell it Maddie even if you call her Mady, also all of them sound the same so even though Maddie is longer, it is the same as Mady.
