Say-luh? vs. Yes? vs. No?
My husband and I are pretty set on using a combination of our mothers’ names, Sadie and Sheila, for our daughter. We really like Say-luh, pronounced to rhyme with Kayla, as we feel like it has an old-fashioned feel, and we think it will be familiar, even though it is a combination of two names. What do you think? How would you spell it: Sayla/Sala/Saila?Saylah/Saylar/Sayluh? Do you have any (uncommon) middle name suggestions? Thanks.

There is an old hebrew name meaning "to pause and reflect" said SAY-LUH but spelt Selah. I think that could be nice because you’re honouring both Mums and giving her such a dreamy sounding name, it just sounds so peaceful and serene. IF you aren’t keen on that idea I quite like Saila. It’s a mix of the Sa’i beginning in Sadie and the ila ending of Sheila! :)

What about Shayla?
I always thought Selah was pronounced SEE-luh? We will definitely consider this spelling! I like Wren for a middle name, thanks :)
