I’m sorry, but I really, truly, hate this name. It’s just not pretty or girly, or anything, it’s just trendy and made up imo. However, if you’re going to use it, I’d suggest spelling it as Navaya, or something a bit more feminine.

It’s one of those names that’s gotten a reputation over the years of being a ’teen mom’ name.

Even with that being said, I still don’t really like it. I’m not a fan of trendy names.

That name is nothing new on this site. Can’t stand it. Nothing cute about it.

Oh my goodness! I’m shocked that people are so horrible on here. I think you were just really unlucky that these are the people who responded. Remember that they are a few out of billions and that their opinions are relatively meaningless. Why would anyone create a "most hated baby names" site? That’s the saddest thing I have heard all day!

I think it’s so much prettier to just name her Heaven rather than spelling it backwards.

My opinion is relatively meaningless? Really? She asked for opinions; we gave ours. Does that mean only the people who like the name are allowed to have an opinion about it? Heck NO.

Nevaeh Heather would be absolutely perfect. Heather is my sisters name so it just makes sense! Thank you for the suggestion.

Why is it that the opinions that are different from yours are meaningless and horrible. I think YOUR opinion is meaningless and horrible! If you can give your opinion then I can give mine and you have to respect it like you expect me to respect yours. Be a grown up honey and realize that life isn’t always gonna agree with you........and that everyone’s "opinion" is ok. Is that what you teach your kids? Oh they don’t agree with you so they don’t matter. Only surround yourself with ppl that don’t challenge you and make you think.

Please don’t name your child Nevaeh. She will hate it some day and will never be taken seriously with such a tacky name.

I would like to comment and make sure that everyone knows. I am not dismissing your opinions, I really appreciate them all. I have had an opinion from both points of view from my family members. Some agree with me and some of them don’t. That is their choice and their right. I asked for an opinion and everyone has been honest with me. Even though the majority of you have been negative towards the name, we are still considering it. We like that for us, it is a different name. Many people may name their children this, but we do not know of any personally. Heaven is very important to us because we do a lot of ministry in our church! However neither one of us really wanted to name our daughter Heaven. Neveah was a compromise that we did agree on. We think it is beautiful and it makes me smile to think of this being my daughter’s name. Nothing is certain, but it is in the running. Again, we are not dismissing your opinions. They have been taken into account. But the overall decision will be based on what we feel is best and a lot of prayer. Thank you everyone for helping!

Nevaeh is a beautiful name! It is heaven spelled backwards! Not everyone has to like your choice! Maybe something like Navaeh Grace, Navaeh Jade, Nevaeh Alise, Nevaeh Faith, Nevaeh Clarissa, Nevaeh Jolene
