Maxie vs. Maxine vs. Maximilliana
Hey, I really love the name Max for my little girl, but as it is pretty much completely a boy’s name, I want a longer more feminine name for her. After searching ALOT this is all we could find. I’m honestly not that in love with any of them, Maxie seems sort of nickname-y and Maximilliana is extremely long. I think my favourite would be Maxine, but my partner likes that the least :/ we’re definitely open to suggestions if you have any girl names that could have the nickname Max, we’d be so grateful, but if not, then please just vote for your favourite of these 3. If you love the name Max, name her Max. I don’t really understand why people name them something then call them by their nickname. I know a few people who have done that and Im not sure why they just didn’t name the baby the name that they use. Name her what you want. Max is a great name for a girl and when job searching she may have an advantage. Now there are lots of names given that boys used to have. Max is super cute. But then again, you will get opinions from some that say they don’t understand why someone would name their girl a boy name. So I say go for it.

Also, If you name her Max you could pick a feminine middle name that you love that she can use later instead of a nickname if she doesn\’t love Max. When she wants her gender known she can write her full middle name, if she doesnt she can use the middle initial.
