Aaryn vs. Erin vs. Erinn
My boyfriend and I want to name our daughter Erin. But James is afraid that Erin looks too masculine... so he said to spell it Aaryn so it looks more feminine. What’re your opinions?

Aaryn actually looks less feminine too me, because it reminds me of the boys name Aaron. Just go with Erin.

Aaryn is the name of a person on Big Brother now who is getting terrible PR for making discriminatory (some say racist) comments. People mock her name and say it is "Arian" (Nazi reference) since that is close to Aaryn. Plus I don’t like sticking y’s into traditional name spellings anyway; a tacky trend imo.

Traditionally Erin is the female spelling and Aaron is the male spelling. I agree Aaryn looks more masculine than Erin.

Erin is the girls spelling.. aaron is how tou spell the boys way. Dont use aaryn then people will just think its a boys misspelt name.

I also thought of Aaryn from big brother, but I think Erin is a prettier spelling and plus it will keep her from having to correct a lot of people as Aaryn is definitely a different spelling.
