Oh i change my vote then!! Faylen is my vote. I thought it souded like a girls name so went with what looked more feminine. You will want to be careful with this one because it does sound like a girls name with fay in front.

I hate to say it but I don’t think you should use it for either a boy OR girl-it sounds way too much like "failing"! For a girl try Fionna, Fabianna or Faye:) If this is for a boy, a cute Irish name would be Finian, Fabian, or Finnegan

I know this is an old post, but... I'm wondering what you went with??? I have a 5 1/2 year old boy named Faylen. He loves his name and no one has ever thought it sounded too much like failing. He is often mistaken for a girl, but that's due more to the fact that he has long hair and not because of his name.
