Alisan Porter is the name of the little girl who played Curly Sue. I like this spelling best. I also love the name Alessandra.

If by not dated you mean a name that’s more commonly used right now, here are the 2012 popularity numbers for the three names.
Alice #127 and rising
Alyssa #44 and falling
Allison #38 but with combined spellings it’s at #29 and it’s been pretty steady in the same popularity range for the last 20 years
So I don’t think any of those names are really too dated, as far as being used today.

I have had the same dillema. In the end, I have decided that they are all beautiful, but they all have slightly different feels to them. Alice seems more classic and intelligent. Allison is probably the most popular, but it’s also classy. Alyssa seems a little more frilly and reminds me of the 80s because of Alyssa Milano. They are all feminine and sweet. Your daughter will have a great name.
