How Should I Spell vs. Julian/Julien
I like the name Julian but I want to spell it Julien so it doesn’t have that "Julie-Ann" look. The only concern is that when you go to a gift shop, and they have those name customized key chains/cups/etc I don’t want it to be spelled Julian instead of Julian. Does anyone have any experience with this? Please comment

Go with Julian - its traditional and it will be easier than correcting people every time someone writes his name. Also Julien might make people pronounce it the french way Joo-Lee-ain. Always go with the traditional spelling also yes that way he can buy souvenir things and not be sad everytime because they spell his name wrong and he can’t buy one.

If you spell it wrong, even by one letter you’ll end up regretting it. Julian looks better anyways. GL.

I would pronounce these names differently. I would pronounce Julien like in French; Julian in English. If you want the English pronunciation, then use the English spelling.

Spell it the way you prefer. Those little personalized souvenirs are only fun for like 5 minutes. Julien isn’t "spelled wrong" it’s the French spelling and I like that spelling more.
