Zain vs. Zayn vs. Zein
We want to use this as our son’s middle name, but can’t decide which of these spellings we like best. Pronounced like "zane" (rhymes with lane), but that spelling is less accurate for the Arabic/Hebrew origin of the name. Thanks!

If you want it pronounced Zane then spell it Zane, it is what English speakers expect, and they will say it right with this spelling, and stare at the others blankly.

I automatically think Zane when I see Zain and Zayn, not so much with Zein. I like Zayn the best. I don’t think pronunciation is too much of an issue anyway since it is a middle name.

Thanks for the comments. It is important to our families (many members of which don’t speak English) that we spell the names "right" for them. So, "Zane" isn’t for us. I agree pronunciation isn’t a huge issue with a middle name, but would like to strike a balance between accuracy for us and phonetics for English speakers.
