Eloise Grace vs. Elloise Grace

I’m leaning more towards the double "L". Her nickname will be "Ellie". We are using both my grandmother’s middle names. What do you think?

Elloise will have her name misspelled quite frequently. I have never seen that spelling before. Her nickname can still be Ellie even if you spell it Eloise. Which spelling did your grandmother use? If she used the double-L, that might be a reason to go with Elloise. Otherwise, I’d advise you to stick with the standard spelling to avoid your daughter always having to spell her name.

She will ALWAYS have to say "No with 2 L’s", when someone spells her name. So Eloise is better.

I think Eloise is just fine. As someone who had a name that wasn’t the common spelling, it was very frustrating.
