Yes- Briggs is great vs. No- It’s not a child’s name.

I’m reposting because I didn’t get a lot of feedback earlier. I would love to use the name Briggs for a boy. It’s the name of the street my childhood church was on. So as a minister, it means a lot to me. What do you think, is Briggs an acceptable name? Should Briggs be a nickname for a longer name?

I actually considered Brighton! It’s on our list because Bright was my maiden name.

Briggs is fine! I think it’d make a wonderful middle name, but it’d make a nice first name as well.

I’d like it better as a middle name, though I suppose it could work as a first name.

I don’t like it, but I could see it as a name.
